Summer 1979  Began formal Martial Arts training
October 1981 – Current Training in Tae Kwon Do, the Korean Art of Self Defense, under the direction of 9th Degree Great Grand Master Moo Yong Yun.
October 1983 – Current United States Tae Kwon Do Union (USTU) Referee Certifying Seminars
Sept. 1986 – Current Self-Employed – Started Bemidji State University (BSU) Tae Kwon Do Club
April 2, 1986 – Current Self-Employed – Started Bemidji Tae Kwon Do School
Fall 1993 – Current BSU Physical Education – Self Defense Instructor
March, 1997 – Current S.H.A.R.P. (Sexual Harassment Assault Rape Prevention) Instructor Certification Course
Summer 1997 – Current Training in KumDo – KumBub, the Korean Art of sport and steel sword, under the direction of 5th Degree Master Moo Yong Yun.
